ok, i know that there are a lot of guys in TN that have rc's, but unfortunately they don't have the time to deal witha track. and the only tracks that i know of are in Nashville, a drive i don't wanna make with my wrangler. and then the next closest one is even further away, a good 2-3 hour drive. and it's a decent track too. but i'm just fishing through here to see i might catch somebody's attention and maybe get a track to try to pursue a track in Middle TN. i know if there was track that was descently located around the Murfreesboro area, it would be unreal of how many guys would show up. but o well, just fishing right now.....wish i lived in CA and had all those nice tracks, fiddle sticks.

I'm sure this is no cosolation but I'm a native Tennessean (born & raised in Nashville!) who raced RC there until I went to college in Texas. Not sure of the scene there anymore though, I haven't spent any time racing there in nearly 10 years...and to make matters worse for you, I now live & race in So. Cal and wouldn't move back if you paid me to ;)
I'd love to have an excuse to travel back to TN for racing though, post here if there's ever a big regional race and I'll check it out.

i'll give youa good reason to come back, you've got money to come back and open up a race track with me and my LHS that i work at. it'll be fun... PLEASE!!! :D :D. or hey, i've got a really good idea ;) , after i graduate from high school can goto college out there and be apart of the maketing staff for XRC. i'm apart of the Riverdale High School DECA chapter, and last year my partner and i went to Nationals held in Anaheim. we competed in the E-Commerce Team Decision Making. we made it into the top 20 out of all 50 states, and 4 countries. i also plan to continue my marketing career into college as a business major. and just o be nosey, how much do you make being an editor??

It is funny you mention that. About a year ago I got so pissed off at the area I live in that I was thinking with my Business degree part of my mind. I thought about making a extream super center for RC, Paintball, BMX, and Hockey. I sat down at my computer and looked up information on populations in age ranges with sports and hobbies and broke it down even into a class of the blue collar and wealthy people. crossed it over with spending habits and all kinds of other demograpics. It took awhile but when you have an Idea on your mind it is amazing what you can come up with. I used to study Architecture back in high school and that is kinda what led me into the Land Survey field. But anyway's I drew up some designs and made up all kinds of blueprints for electric, water, glass, building codes, elevations, ect. and came up with a great concept never before seen. The idea was to build an ultimate store much like the size of a Super Walmart that would be dedicated to full service RC store with a state of the art indoor carpet track for the 1/10th-1/12th electric, a smaller track with-in it for the 1/18th-1/16th electric, a indoor/outdoor Nitro dirt track for the 1/10th-1/8th , a Complete service dept. for the Paintballer along with 2 full size indoor NPPL/PSP Paintball fields, a Skate board/BMX shop with a field to test and play on, and a reglation Field Hockey field with a service dept for special orders. The Rooms would be all wrapped around the outside of the main building that would house ever single RC car/truck/buggy/truggy,nitro & electric/parts and gear, Paintball markers from beginer to pro/parts and gear, well everything you could want and think of. I dont even want to bore you with how much it would cost to build, construct shelving, and fill the store with all this and hire people who are experianced in each of the fields offered as well as hold sanctioned events for everything here. But it was without a doubt buildable and approachable from every standard. The big problem from ever making it happen is and still is to this day (MONEY) Now if I won the money one day I would be on it so fast that I am 1 million percent sure in success. So much so I would end up building one in California (somewhere), Chicago Illinois, Orlando Florida, NewYork (Somewhere), and Texas (somewhere). It would be assured to be the best of the best giving everyone a place to go and excersize the want to do the hobbies and sports that is not offered to most people today. And the best part of this is that I would make it my motto to offer great prices, knowledgable staff, and for Joe Somebody to have a chance at being Someone. But we all have dreams, Mine is just to supply one to everyone else

awesome idea!!! ok, in about 5 more years after i graduate college, i'll give ya a call and i'll market this idea for ya. and here's a good motto for ya, "supplying better products, qualified staff, and dream for everyone." now if that ddin't my attention to goto this super-store, i dunno what would, other than the indoor paintball field also. and you could a make it chain business and plop one right here in Murfreesboro. cuz there's ashit load of people that do RC, skateboards/ rollerblade (fruit-boot)/ bmx, paintball, subtract field hockey and add rugby. just recently the 'Boro has grown to major rugby station. i'm a little embarassed to say this but, Murfreesboro is a campus city....ex: Knoxville- University of TN.... well Middle TN State University (MTSU) has one the top "womens"....yes womens rugby teams in the sunbelt conference. we literally have "Girlie Men" (quote Arnold)
