Hey, i've been planning to enter my nitro on-road 1/10 car in some races, but i want to practice my driving skills (so i don't trash my car). So i was wondering about any tips or track layouts that are great for practicing.

Setup some turns using cones in your driveway or a parking lot. Use a wide variation of turns like U, sweepers, and quick turns. You might want to practice on a S type turn also. All these will help you at your track. Oh yea, start slow then gradually get faster as you learn the ropes.

Sweeps are long fast turns, quick turns are slow turns which work better when you have a quicker accerating car, and S turns are in the shape of a S.
