April best paint competition !!

My entry for this month are three bodies with the same graphics !

It's a RIDE Stratus, Protoform Stratus 3 and a Protoform Mazda 6

I used Paint from Faskolor (black, white, silver, neon orange, neon yellow and neon blue) and Auto-Air (real teal and nightmare blue).

Crowd pleazer muscle 2.0
Faskolor pearl black, blue, yellow, orange, red, silver and pearl white, Spaztix chrome
Tribal metal design and a water reflection with some graphics. Sorry the other pics did not turn out very good. There is a lot of glimmer that does not show up in the pics well.

This is a Protoform Speed 12 mounted on an Associated 12L. I ran out of liquid mask and used masking tape, it worked great.

Body was painted using Faskolor Black, Flourescent Yellow, Flourescent Orange, Flourescent Flaming Orange, Faswhite, custom "Ice Blue" & "Kyosho blue" on a Majestic Revo body. All of the logo's are painted. Picture by Roy Pitchlynn of RD Racing Products.

#1 Mustang, Awesome work! All judges agree three in a row, takes the show! Your color choices, and fade/stripe work are second to none! Your painted headlight 'eyes', and taillights are wicked cool! <- Some of the Judges' favorite!* Very nice touch that you've changed the 'attitude' of the bodies to suit your personal taste, very well done indeed. Your design and layout are quite impressive! We all appreciate the fact that your cars are stickerless. . The only minus we could come up with was..your bodies aren't mounted. All judges agree, you take top honor for the April paint contest. I hope you will find this to be a rewarding victory among such worthy competitors. Congratulations Mustang!

#2 JT Cages, Outstanding work! All judges agree your color choices, and fade/stripe work are nicely done, good flow in general -especially the dark blue 'marbled' area-. The 'steel' graphics, and your 'flames' are very well done indeed. I appreciate the change up with the 'carbon fiber' colors in the graphics as well. Your design and layout are quite impressive! The only minus we could come up with was..the body isn't mounted, and you have a few weeps in the 'corners'. I hope you will find second place in this month's competition to be a rewarding victory among such worthy competitors. All judges agree, you take the second honor for the April paint contest.

#3 C3p-Yo, Very, very, impressive work! All judges agree the general 'flow' of your paint work is very well done. Your fade work is nearly perfect, as is your shading. Your stripe work is simply stunning! We all appreciate the fact that your car is stickerless. I personally appreciate the fact that your body is mounted and ready to go. The few distracting elements were possibly the color choices I hope you will find third place in this month's competition to be a rewarding victory among such worthy competitors. All judges agree, you take the third honor for the April paint contest.

I'd first like to thank my fellow judges. I express my deepest gratitude to everyone that took the time and effort to not only paint such amazing looking rides, but to take pictures and submit them here in our contest. That should warrant an honorable mention to every one of you at the very least.
