Is there an rc hobby lexan spraypaint in a silver similar to the faspearl silver. because i want to paint a body faspearl silver but i dont have an airbrush or any experience with one, but i do have experience with spray paint, hence my dilimma. So i was wondering if faskolor or any other rc paint company made a spraypaint form identical or similar to the faspearl silver color.

I know Pactra Racing Finish Lacquers by Testors makes a silver, and Tamiya makes one and they make color change paints also.

If you go to an automotive supply shop you might be able to find some aerosol sprayers. They have a jar on the bottom (to put your paint) and a can the threads to the top with the propellent. Basically a spray can that you can put any type of spray medium in. So if you want to spray Parma's Faspearl silver but don't want to get an airbrush, you can get one of those to spray the paint with. They're also handy for spraying custom mixed colors.

I found one like that at Hobby Lobby for $10, without the propellant. Works fine for shooting larger areas and backing coats. Easy to use and clean up.

Actually, no. What I'm talking about is all self contained. It's almost like an empty spray paint can, but with a jar in the lower portion for the paint. They usually cost less than $10.

Here's one that I found.

Testors makes something that goes on top of the can and os an external mix type system, and you can get that at wal-mart for cheap.
Dave I have never acully seen those before.

This is the thing made by Testors. You should be able to find it a wal-mart in the model area (as long as testors still makes it). (The large can is not included, but the small can is)

It sprays decent, as long as you keep the can warm (they get relly cold, and has frost build up on it). The reason that isn't consistant is because of it getting cold, and when the air pressure gets low in the can. For the most part it sprays ok. I use it on my 1/32nd scale F-4 plane. I would describe its spray pattern a cross between a spray can and air brush.
