Body Painters?

Anybody know who paints really good 1/8 scale buggy bodies? I have a paint concept in mind for a Mugen MBX-5 Prospec like these pictures. It doesnt matter the price and I can sent the body to. Please someone help me this is my last option :( . Ive tried to get a hold of JConcepts but they wont answer my e-mails, and they don't have a telephone.

If you want quick and not too fancy, heck, PM me and we can talk! But there are a dozen great painters here. Find them in the paint contest thread and contact them. Someone like Stan might even have a body already painted that you like.

I sent Mike a link to this thread. He should get in touch with you soon. He races on weekends, so it might be Monday before you hear from him.

Most guys hand Mike the bodies they want painted so he doesn't have to travel to the store as much, but he is sponsored by a hobbyshop here in Chicago, so he's in there frequently.

Just wondering RGX if you are the original painter of the second photo? If you are I tried to get ahold of you through the web site and I hope it was cool but I had the theme duplicated. If not , well here is mine anyways

maybe you should ask mike before you have someone copy his personal paint, thats his paaint he uses for his own rides, that kinda messed up asking someone to copy his own ride

Thanks for your concern. LAST thing I would ever do is copy someone else's work. I have enough talent not to have to do that.
You are right I would be a little ticked if someone copied mine but on the other hand honored someone would want to copy it ."LOL"

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I have attempted paint schemes that follow color and design themes from things I have seen here and elsewhere, but I haven't sought to profit from it. I did them to learn and practice.

JTCages works are original and amazing! I'm sure anything he does for a customer would be in his style and not a direct copy of Czech's designs.

face it...flames are flames and designs are/can be similar to one another.. it's hard to do a paintjob that doesn't resemble one already done somewhere else.

I dont plan to have him copy it. I just really like the work, and Mike isnt doing bodies right now.

He is painting now. He just isn't adding any more bodies to his waiting list at this time.
