It was discussed in another thread so I thought I'd make it easier to find.
Get rubber drawer liner or shelf liner that looks like this
http://www.rcpics.net/media/dscn0161.jpg
then spray one color, lift the mask and spray the other color.
Experiment with different color combinations.
Enjoy

Sorry that they couldn't keep going.
The Colts rained on our parade.... :(
Hats off to Indy for getting it done in the downpour when they need to.
The Bears...well, just ask any Cubs fan....there's always next year!

It was still a close game until Rex started to throw the ball the ball long, and after he fumbled the ball right at the snap (what’s up with that)
There’s only next year if they get a new QB, or at lease teach the old QB how to play football.
Starts chant **Down with Rex, down with Rex** end chant.

Dude, Rex sucks! And if your gonna give me that first season rookie stuff. lets look at the rookies who have confidence in thier game. Hmmm Dallas Cowboys (Romo), Hmmm Arizona Cardnials (Lienart) These guys may have faults in thier coverage, but they have a hell of alot more confidence in thier game to play under pressure and not screw up. Now I wont put all the blame on Rex, I will say more like the Offensive line needs to figure out what position they want to play and stick to it. And Mr. Turner can cry me a river with his wonderful speratic play calling. How can you make a call for a pass play with a quarterback who is easier to read than a large letter book of "see dick run". Bottom line my friends. Yes we could have The SUPERBOWL if the guys would have had a better QB. Defence was absorbant to the calls for the most part and did thier job. But on the other hand Tony Dungy is a GREAT Coach. and he invented the no huddle offense that made Manning what he is.
Next year? Well I am not holding my breath. Goodbye Mr. Thomas Jones, there is not enough money in the house to have 2 great RB's and he is looking for more money. Good bye Mr Briggs, It has come to the realization that in the right position that Briggs is quite capable of being another Urlacher, And we all know it! Unless Chicago Franchizes him and reaches another Superbowl based on that, then we will beable to shake the Moneytree in his favor. And with out Urlacher having Briggs as his second sight along with Hillenmeyer. Urlacher's greatness will be a little less dazzeling on the field of combat. Goodbye to Mr. Rivera, Rivera has prooven that his defensive ideaology is what makes greatness thrive and he will be a great coach if picked up since a majority of Coaching posititons is defensive line based jobs, Whats that smell? defensive shitz gone out the stadium! Look to next year as another re-building season. Maybe Lovie will get his raise, Maybe Lovie will quit thinking that greatness is achieved by patting a under-confident man on the back thinking that just a few words of encouragemnet will bring the best out of a player. and maybe Chicago will pull a hat trick! But the magic 8ight ball states this "My sources say NO!"

I found some new matting to use for CF effects. Thinner and more precise openings, so it should make for a tight pattern. Results soon!

Yeah that is cool, it looks like it would have a nice shape to the CF patern, alhtough what do you use to mask it down so there is no back spray...?
Im totally lost with the gridiron/American football talk though, I have no idea about this sport. I have perhaps only seen it maybe once or twice.

sim, I cant explain american football. Its just a sport that is loved among all other sports. like in Chicago the saying is. Baseball seperates the city, but Football unites us all. You want some info about football, purchase the DVD "Chicago bears The complete history" It tells you about the chicago bears for the most part but also explains the history of football and about papa George halas, the man who started a legacy that is now called the NFL.
Now back to the Carbon Fiber masking. That is awsome stuff. I beleive the best way to explain the shelf foam to stick while painting it is that you hold the body at a certain degree and hold the airbrush at the equivelent so you can obtain the paint design. the weight is pretty good on that stuff and I have seen others do it many times and it has no effect when it comes to overspraying.

Yeah...thanks T36, thats ok though. I mean..I get it...I just dont GET it, he he he. Im more of a rugby union fan where they dont wear all the fab protectors and what have you, either that or Ausy rules, now thats a sport... :D
With the CF look, that foam that was posted looks great because it seems to have a more even pitch and the effect would be a cleaner look. I was thinking of taping it down on all 4 corners while the rest had already of course dried so as to minimize any back spray. I have a new shell coming soon so it will only be a rattle can job unfortunatly...still no equipement here yet. But hey, more of a challenge. So it will be a challenge to find something similar here in J-Land, but its iintersting to see people thinking outside the box for that stuff...cool.

Both mats work fine just laying in the shell. The key is keep the air pressure low so it doesn't blow under and lift the mat. Spraying at true right angles to the mat keeps the spray edges sharp.
The new style may I show is very "rubbery" and has lots of cling that keeps it in place. The foamy style mat is lightweight, and moves easier with air and tilting of the body.
A test piece....
