OK, Dave told me this a little after I purchased my compressor. Now I paid just over a hundy for mine and I love it. here is the link, http://cgi.ebay.com/1-5-HP-AIRBRUSH-MINI-AIR-BRUSH-COMPRESSOR-PAINTING-ART_W0QQitemZ250027739155QQihZ015QQcategoryZ28111QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. It is a duplicate of the iwata compressor and it comes to you in Red not dull silver as shown in the auction. But dave told me to go to Menards. I went there to look and I could have gotten a compressor there for around $50+ with a tank built on pumping 100 P.S.I and an auto shut off. (the ONLY draw back was it was a non maintenance free compressor) You might want to check it out. now it is a little bigger than the Iwata compressors, But it is up to you. it appears you end up paying for compact size and for a maintenance free compressor. But the above link would be my choice for you to go towards

yea i really like that compressors and i would get one if it had a tank but only if it was like half that price because i really can only spend 80 the most. but if that had a tank and it was buy it now 80 including shipping i would definetly get it.

Just remember, Cheap is not the way to go when airbrushing. I found that out the hardway. I understand the budget thing. maybe you should wait a bit longer to get the right aircompressor. I am sure others would agree with me on that. I will tell you the major reason why to start with. You want a nice clean flow of air with no pops of air bursts. Nothing sucks more than getting an air pocket into your paint job. Second, be sure to get a moisture trap, again this matters extreamly because you do not want to have runny paint. But these first 2 reasons are a major attention to when purchasing your air compressor. get an oil free piston opperating compressor, get no less than 100 p.s.i, Now you dont nessesarily need a tank compressor but if you do that this is what you are looking for http://cgi.ebay.com/1-5-HP-AIRBRUSH-MINI-AIR-BRUSH-COMPRESSOR-w-TANK-QUIET_W0QQitemZ250057211611QQihZ015QQcategoryZ28111QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
Other than that, just for comparision here is the Iwata compressor
