i am using fasmask in 4 heavy coats when i cut it, it seems to take alot of pressure to cut through w/o cutting into the body.
Am i using too much or what? :(

Prolly, yep.

3-4 thin-medium coats is all I ever use. My tip is to mask beyond the cut lines of the body, say into the wheelwell area, with the LMF. Then after a few layers I can test cut a piece in there without boogering up the main body area. If it's too thin, I can add another layer.

And always use a brand new blade with every body. It's 10 cents well spent.

i do use a new blade every body so i am probably laying it on too thick

createx and faskolor are similar, both water based. I find cratex has some extra colors that faskolor doesn't, and because you can get createx at crafts stores, they are a tiny bit less expensive.

Both have to be reduced to airbrush.

i heard you mention thinning all airbrush paints do you just use water to thin faskolors?
and whats the best cleaner to use for the airbrush?

You could use just water or you could use Windex, or you could use rubbing alcohol. I use a 75/25% mix of Windex and alcohol, and then add that mix to my paint. I like to mix my paint about 50/50 of paint to thinner, and then if it needs to be thinner I can add more if needed. How ever you don’t need to thin down the paint, but the paint will spray a lot better if you do.

You can use water as a flush mixed with a little Windex or rubbing alcohol and for a cleaner just use the Windex or alcohol straight. Also make sure that you dry your brush after you are done using it, for the paint cup use a clean paper towel, and just spray air out of it for about 30 seconds or longer to be sure that your brush is dry.
