Right now they are mostly Nitro 10th trucks and 1/8th buggies but it is a clean, family track that will be changing it's race times to Saturday afternoon/ evenings to accomodate racers for the summer heat. (even though the drivers stand and pits are covered) Also because of the heat they are running the track dry and hard packed that is asphalt like in traction with a little bit of drift do to some loose dust on the surface.

Shop is stocked with Associated, Losi, Jammin, Some Mugen and some Traxxas plus aftermarket goodies, tires, wheels, fuel, batteries etc etc

There is plenty of shopping in the area if the GF or Wife doesn't want to hang out, fast food right around the corner, snacks and soda's in the shop. There is a mini golf and go-kart track kaddy-korner from the shop so the little ones can go over there with mom if they want.

I know this sounds like a commercial, but I have no affiliation to the track except for wanting to keep a good thing going. Check them out at www.arcraceway.com

Thanks,

RC

Starting Aug. 20th ARC Raceway in Murrieta Calif (off the 15 fwy 30 miles south of Riverside/ Corona 91fwy) will be switching to evening races starting at 5pm. The new addition of lights has allowed the racing to run into the night. Gates will be open @ 11-12 (check ARC website to be sure of that) and racing will start at 5pm. All off road classes are welcome, Nitro 8th and 10th, electric 10th, 8th truggy, monster trucks etc. Bring the family plenty to do in the area even if you want to come down and just check it out. 110v Power in the pits which are covered and can hold 60+ and well stocked hobby shop.

Some of America's top drivers have been seen there, Paul Coleman, Jay Halsey, Adam Cole, Gary Guest just to name a few.

45-50 racers all showed up this weekend at ARC Raceways first night time event!! Some awesome action was witnessed by those in attendance as the 1/8th Buggy A-main was commanded by Tim Long battling heavily with Paul Coleman until Paul had a breakage and saw Tim Long pull further away from the rest of the field during the 20 minute event. The 10th expert gas truck event saw an early neck and neck battle for the first 5 minutes of this 20 minute a-main between Jim Pierce, Mike Weed, Brandon Ko and Jimmy Wright.

Monster trucks, Sportsman gas truck and sportsman 1/8th buggy rounded out the night with one heck of a show and great announcing by Gary Guest himself.

You've got to check this new facility out!!

Full race practice nights will be coming soon. The track will be groomed just as in a race so you can actually go out and dial in your equipment! Coming soon! check www.arcraceway.com for more details.
