anybody have pics of their tracks whether it would be your backyard or at a vacant lot.....we are working on one at work it is a slow process (busy busy busy on the job) but hope to have it completed this summer....here are a few pic at the beginning stages.

This track is built on school property. I got permission from the district and principal and the students helped build and plan this great track. All are welcome to come by and see it.

Here are a couple early pics of our Club Track, TCRC in Huntington WV (host of RC Pro Series North Division Round 3). I think the track size is about 180' x 75'. The driver stand is ~10' high and 40' long.

I know that track well...Jake runs a great facility! I raced there frequently when I lived in Houston for the past 8 years. You're lucky to have JCG as your local track.

It has been a while (2005) but we have more guys at work into 1/8 offroad and our track is underway. It is small for now, just needs some fine tuning and it will be done. I will send more pics.....it just takes time because of the job.

Hers some pics of my micro-t trak in my basement. It may be minimal, but it feels like a professional track.

The back straight you can open up the throttle. When you reach the tripple you can take basically any way except for doubble single. I go all out and tripple it. The s section is simple but challenging, and the dubble you can take at a moderate speed. A stock battery has the perfect power for this track. The lipo is jus to much.

Figured i'd post some colorado tracks. :cool:
On-road is my thing during the summer, so here is a local track that we race on that is located in the parking lot in front of HobbyTown USA Westminister.
Classes range from novice to 19t to offroad (they set up plastic skateboard ramps, and its for fun, there is not really a major comptition factor in this class)

Its probably the biggest parking lot track i have seen.

Remember, these tracks must be set up and torn down every weekend, so don't expect too much.

Here is a perminate track located in fort collins that is about half the size as posted above, but that doesn't decrease the fun factor much.

NEWSFLASH
CORRC has recently rented out parking lot space twice every month at INVESCO FEILD at mile high. For non-coloradoans, this is our home football feild for the denver broncos (talk about a way to increase publicity for rc huh?).

Hopefully this will bring in alot of new spectators as well as new hobbyists into the sport.
The track was 208ft by 90ft last week when they set it up,
And classes range from 1/8th scale nitro to mod tc.
No picks yet,
but i'll keep you guys posted.

(oh yeah, dave, i hope you race at those tracks at every given chance possible, because they are freaking BEAUTIFUL and should not be left untouched!!!) ;)

Oh yeah, and they change the layout of every track every week, perminate or not, and after the first season at the small track, the carpet was anything but new :D :D :D
