Firs off your mag kicks but . I wish that I could say the same for the Aftershock . I owned the MGT , LST , TNX , Savage , Aftershock , and now I have the Revo . Sow you know that I love monster trucks . I picked up the Aftershock about a month ago and right out of the box the truck ran like crap . The truck is great but the one way baring in the spur gear slipped and damaged the shaft that it spins on . I was not the only one who had the same problem . Three people purchased the truck from the same shop and had the same problem . Losi should have left that part alone .

I picked up the Aftershock for my girl who fell in love with my Savage X amd wanted a truck of her own. I have to tell you I had problems with it from the first tank. First the electronics was giving me a hard time. It kept glitching on me and I could not control the Truck. The hobbytown that I bought it at just simply gave me another one with no hastles. The second one did the same thing. Hobbytown switched out the reciever for me and upgraded it to the FM model JR XR3i. No problem after that. The next problem I had was tuning the motor. I never did get it right and I had a tech try as well with no success. I put in an old barely broken in HPI 4.1 I had sitting around and the truck was unstoppable afterwards.

i bought the aftershock about 8 months ago and the only flaw i have found is the owb in the outer spur gear but that was fixed buy replacing the whole setup with a lst2 setup from ebay. Now it works flawlessy. the engine tuned very easily with an OS #8 plug and dynamite 20%. i reaplaced the pipe with the lst pipe and it works great. also changed the carb to a sportwerks carb and now it actually hits 43.45 mph with the GPS. the truck is very solid so far. only broken one set of a-arms.
